WOW!  It's November! Time is flying by!  Please keep reading and practicing sight words with your child every night.  At the end of the second nine weeks they should be reading on a level 10.  I'm so proud of the boys and girls who are working hard in reading, writing and math!  It pays off in class!  THANK YOU!

Thanks to all for report card conferences!  It was nice to visit with you about how your child is doing in class!  :)

In Social Studies we will discuss traditions and customs.  We will talk about traditions in our family, and other families.  We will make a family quilt that shows a tradition that our family does on special occasions.

At the end of the week we will review all last nine weeks skills by playing Jeopardy.  I'll take Reading for $500... this will be a great way that we will review past learned skills at the end of each nine weeks.  Ask your child on Friday about how our game turned out!
