The reading skills are blend and read long i words with silent e; recognize the author's purpose for writing the story; digraphs ch, wh, ph, tch; identify special titles (Dr, Ms., Captain, etc); and practice daily Saxon Phonics.
In Math we will add and subtract numbers up to 20. We will also continue to work on place value and compare the value of numbers using greater than, less than, and equal to.
In Science we will discuss light, energy, and sound.
In Social Studies we will discuss traditions, customs, and symbols in America and Texas. We discuss Thanksgiving celebrations.

We read "Monster Mischief" and made monster stew! It had lots of crunchy
and chewy things in it! The boys and girls weren't so sure about it! LOL! No really it had pretzels, gummy worms, and cookies! YUM YUM!
We had guest Author "Chester Drawers" visit us!

It's election day and we read two books "Duck for President" and
"Grace for President." We first registered to vote then used a voting ballot to vote for the candidate that we thought was the better choice
